Terms of use

What this website is, and what it is not

Short terms, in plain language, so that there is no doubt about what using this site does and does not create.

Terms

i
General information only
Everything published here is general information about therapy and about how appointments are arranged. It is not clinical advice, it is not personalised to you, and it cannot substitute for an assessment by a qualified professional who has met you.
ii
No clinical relationship is created
Reading this site, or sending an enquiry through it, does not make you a client of any clinician and does not create a therapeutic relationship. That begins only when a clinician and you agree to work together.
iii
Not an emergency service
This site is not monitored continuously and carries no crisis service, on-call arrangement or live chat. In an emergency, contact your local emergency number or nearest emergency department.
iv
No appointment is confirmed by this website
There is no live booking system here. An appointment exists only once it has been confirmed with you directly, along with its fee, format and cancellation terms.
v
Accuracy and changes
Information is kept as accurate as we can make it, and anything we cannot verify is omitted rather than estimated. Content may change without notice; the version you are reading is the current one.
vi
External references
Where this site refers you to a regulator, insurer or emergency service, those bodies are independent of us and we are not responsible for their content or decisions.

Questions about these terms can be sent through the contact page.
